COPD

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive disease that causes difficulty in breathing, among the conditions categorized as COPD are chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

There are a variety of causes, including smoking, exposure to certain chemicals, chronic hyper-reactivity, even genetic factors. Everything from cooking with gas without ventilation, exposure to chemical fumes, pollution and secondhand smoke have been shown to be factors involved in COPD.

The most common symptoms are:

  • Shortness of breath
  • Cough with mucus
  • Chest tightness
  • Wheezing

Stem Cell Therapy/Transplant for COPD Patients

Adult stem cells have the ability to repair or replace a wide variety of tissues within the human body, lung tissue included.

These cells may repair the tissue by replacing damaged cells or by recruiting more cells to repair the damage caused by a disease, while also causing an immune-regulating effect that can help reduce chronic inflammation as well as elimination of destroyed cells and unwanted deposits.

The following symptoms have improved after our patients have undergone stem cell treatment:

  • Improved breathing (less difficulty)
  • Increased energy
  • Increased ability to walk unassisted
  • Increased ability to perform daily tasks
  • Less reliance on supplemental oxygen
  • Improvements in sleep patterns
  • Enhanced mood

COPD FAQ’s

RMI Stem Cell Therapy Mexico is a leading and certified clinic for stem cell treatments in Tijuana, Mexico.

We treat patients from all over the world and all ages, who suffer from complex illnesses and health conditions, which have been labeled as: “Not Treatable” or conventional medicine has failed to help them.

Can Stem Cell therapy help COPD patients?

Each patient’s benefits can be different and depend on their specific condition or medical history. However, often, patients have seen great improvements, and rarely do we see any setbacks or complications, largely in part because this is considered minimally invasive treatment that carries little to no risk.

How is Stem Cell Therapy COPD performed?

For our COPD patients, the delivery method we use is: IV implantation. While many clinics offer IV stem cells, very few have an in-depth understanding of how variations in concentration, speed and volume can affect the efficacy of a stem cell treatment, as well as the amount of cells that are able to migrate to the target organ or tissue.

Our highly experienced group of researchers and physicians, through years of applied research and clinical experience have been able to determine the specific concentrations of stem cells, volume of carrier fluids and speed of infusion to optimize IV treatments for each specific condition treated.

Everything from taking advantage of physiological phenomena like the “First-pass lung effect” to concentration-based absorption rates are taken into account in order to find the best possible method of infusion for each specific patient.

How much does Stem Cell therapy for COPD patients cost?

Our Stem Cell treatments have different prices according to the condition. They can go from as low as $2,000USD up to $25,000USD or even more in some complex neurogenerative diseases.

For the exact price of your treatment plan, please feel free to call us directly.
