Stem Cell Treatment for Diabetes Mellitus

Diabetes is a disease that involves high blood sugar levels, but also affects the smallest of blood vessels in the body, which are necessary for the function of the eyes (retina), Kidney, as well as the sensitive nerves in the extremities. The loss of these fragile blood vessels can lead to decreased sensitivity and seriously hinder the body’s ability to repair even the smallest of injuries, which can lead to (among other things) diabetic foot.

There may be an auto-immune component to the disease, in which the body’s own immune system attacks the cells within the pancreas that produce insulin.

Our protocol is designed to help repair not only the insulin-producing cells within the pancreas, but also to help restore adequate blood flow to sensitive areas by helping create new blood vessels and repairing damaged ones.

Stem Cell Therapy/Transplant for Diabetes Mellitus

Our stem cell therapy for diabetes is a minimally invasive procedure in which adult stem cells are implanted into the patient. These stem cells help develop new blood vessels and repair or replace damaged cells in the pancreas that produce insulin.

For our Diabetes patients, the delivery method we use is: IV implantation. While many clinics offer IV stem cells, very few have an in-depth understanding of how variations in concentration, speed and volume can affect the efficacy of a stem cell treatment, as well as the amount of cells that are able to migrate to the target organ or tissue.

Our highly experienced group of researchers and physicians, through years of applied research and clinical experience have been able to determine the specific concentrations of stem cells, volume of carrier fluids and speed of infusion to optimize IV treatments for each specific condition treated.

Everything from taking advantage of physiological phenomena like the “First-pass lung effect” to concentration-based absorption rates are taken into account in order to find the best possible method of infusion for each specific patient.
